Vancity STAR WARS

During the initial stages of the COVID19 pandemic the city was eerily quiet with once bustling areas silent.  I would often go for walks in my neighbourhood of Coal Harbour and around Stanley Park, camera in hand documenting the drastic change. Eventually, British Columbia moved into stage three of the recovery plan, but it still seemed like there was a daily barrage of troubling events in the news. Trying to inject a bit of humour into the situation I posited what the next crisis would be so I chose the ominous arrival of the Imperial Empire Death Star from STARWARS.  That initial image kicked off this series of creative photographs injecting STAR WARS vehicles into the pandemic landscape.
